TIMI IIB compares the effects of an invasive vs. conservative strategy following thrombolysis with rtPA among patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction.

TIMI IIB compares the effect of immediate vs. delayed (6 days) metoprolol therapy among patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction treated with rtPA (a substudy of the TIMI II trial).
